====== EVO 1-3 Socket Checkpoints ====== With a EVO 1-3 ECU, when removing the EPROM it's entirely possible to damage a track on the top of the board and still allow the engine to run, but cause a number of malfunctions. If the engine runs, it indicates that the connections between the processor (IC1) and the EPROM are okay. ====== Details ====== Check for continuity of the tracks to the EPROM as follows: ^ EPROM ^ IC2 ^ IC1 ^Notes ^ | 01| 61| 38| J1 installed, J2 removed| | 02| 64| 35| | | 03| 2| 46| | | 04| 3| 45| | | 05| 4| 44| | | 06| 5| 43| | | 07| 6| 42| | | 08| 7| 41| | | 09| 8| 40| | | 10| 9| 39| | | 11| 13| 11| | | 12| 14| 12| | | 13| 15| 13| | | 14| | |GND| | 15| 16| 14| | | 16| 17| 15| | | 17| 19| 16| | | 18| 20| 17| | | 19| 21| 18| | | 20| | |GND| | 21| 66| 33| | | 22| 22| | | | 23| 65| 34| | | 24| 67| 32| | | 25| 68| 31| | | 26| 63| 36| | | 27| 62| 37| | | 28| | |+5V| Pin numbers for IC1 and IC2 are printed on the PC board.
