Note that the following lists out all the available inputs on the 1G and 2G DSM ECUs. Most of these have special cases associated with them to be useful as a general purpose analog input. The most freely available inputs are the EGRTemp input on a 1G ECU and the RearO2 and MDP inputs on the 2G ECU. The rest have special cases to consider with them. Some may even require a buffer circuit to be driven properly, depending on which sensors is connected to which input.

1G ECU
EGR Temp Input (ECU Pin 15)
IAT Input (ECU Pin 8) - see IAT/Baro Notes below
Baro Input (ECU Pin 16) - see IAT/Baro Notes below
Front O2 (ECU Pin 4) - Only usable when “Open Loop” option is selected (V2 or V3), or narrowband O2 simulation is enabled (V3 only).
Coolant Temp Input (ECU Pin 20) - (V3 only) - This will leave the car in “Open Loop”. “Lock Coolant Temp” must be selected, to work properly.
2G ECU
Rear O2 (ECU Pin 75)
Front O2 (ECU Pin 76) - Only usable when “Open Loop” option is selected, or narrowband O2 simulation is enabled.
MDP (ECU Pin 73)
Baro (ECU Pin 85) -
see IAT/Baro Notes below - Has internal pull down resistor making it unsuitable for certain sensors (see work around).
IAT (ECU Pin 72) - see IAT/Baro Notes below
Coolant Temp Input (ECU Pin 83) - (V3 only) - This will leave the car in “Open Loop”. “Lock Coolant Temp” must be selected, to work properly.
EVO1-3 ECU
Front O2 (ECU Pin 56)
Baro (ECU Pin 65) -
see IAT/Baro Notes below - Has internal pull down resistor making it unsuitable for certain sensors (see work around).
IAT (ECU Pin 52) - see IAT/Baro Notes below
Coolant Temp Input (ECU Pin 63) - This will leave the car in “Open Loop”. “Lock Coolant Temp” must be selected, to work properly.
IAT/Baro Notes
In order to free up the IAT and Baro inputs to the ECU, you must be running a non-Mitsubishi style mass airflow sensor. That can either be a GM MAF connected to the ECU with our GM MAF cable or it can be a GM MAF connected to the ECU through a MAF translator. Or it can even be while running speed density mode in ECMLink.
The point being that you can NOT log an aftermarket sensor on these inputs if you are running a Mitsubishi style mass airflow sensor (1G DSM, 2G DSM, EVO8).
In addition, if you are running a GM MAF with a MAF translator, then you must also make sure you have selected to Ignore IAT/Baro.
