NOTE: We have not yet ported the full V3 package to the EVO1-3 platform. This V3Lite-to-full upgrade page is *only* for the 1G or 2G DSMs.
RESPONSE TIME: The V3Lite-to-full upgrade process is tediously manual and only one person here has the access to do it. So, unfortunately, it can take some time to respond back to you with your new firmware image once you've sent us your firmware request file. Please be patient with us and please do not submit an upgrade request at 3PM when you have a tuning session at 4PM...it's just not going to work!
It can take us a day or two before we can get around to some of these.
Upgrade your existing 1G or 2G DSM V3Lite package to a full V3. The differences between the two are outlined on our comparison page. Maybe you want to run our GM MAF cable straight o the ECU or you want access to the gear-based boost control or you'd like to hot swap E85 and 93 octane maps with a switch on your dash.
Whatever the reason, this is the page you can use to order an upgrade to the full V3 package. Unfortunately, this upgrade is not automated yet. So you need to follow the procedure outlined below.
Process: Once you have submitted payment for your order, you will need to send us a firmware upgrade request file. You can grab this file from your ECU using the "Create firmware request" menu item in the ECU menu of the ECMLink application. Of course, you will need to be connected to your ECU to grab this file.
Once you have the firmware request file saved to disk, you'll need to e-mail it to us so that we can create the upgrade image while preserving all your current settings. You can e-mail that file to the following address:
PLEASE include your order number or at least the name the order was placed under when you send us that file. We must have some way to match the file up with an order.
Once we receive the file from you, we'll process the data and send back an upgrade file you can use to upgrade your ECU. To do that, you'll use the "Upgrade firmware" menu item in the ECU menu.
Turn around time: I wish I could say we'll get this upgrade file back to you immediately. But it may take a few hours to process depending on what else is going on and when you submit it. Please be patient with us and we'll get back to you as soon as physically possible.
Shipping selection: Unless you have other items in your shopping cart that we need to physically ship to you, be sure to select LOCAL PICKUP for your shipping option on this order so that you are not charged for shipping!
